Many people facing significant barriers to work will only move into employment with support. Many employers run programmes to offer this support. But what are the ingredients of a successful programme?
On the 4 February 2016, Business in the Community hosted its first ever Employment Summit. The event brought together 150 business leaders to explore the various ways businesses can inspire, hire and grow talent in today’s labour market.
A series of breakout sessions focused on the key social issues affecting businesses from an employment perspective, and the innovative solutions being used to tackle them. Business in the Community members can download a summary of this breakout session, which outlines the key learnings and recommendations.
